GLOBETRONICA is the next chapter in Pathaan’s musical evolution. Pathaan says: ‘Music is a language as ancient as it is immediate, and today an entire planet is being united through digital means.

Where to begin? I believe that like everything else, when a critical mass of people has an idea, it influences the whole world. We are living in an interesting time, where people want to understand more about other forms of music and more about their spirituality; and why shouldn’t they? We’re getting older; dance music doesn’t do it for us 24/7 anymore, so embracing all forms of music seems to be a sensible option. Dance music allows me to learn about my own spirituality and hence try to influence other peoples’ musical taste and spirituality awareness.

Music is a doorway to discovery and opening that door for as many people as possible is my musical commitment towards creating an ever growing understanding public who are willing to listen. It’s a tall order, I know, but all great journeys start somewhere.

Music has ancient and obscure origins and appears throughout history like golden threads of light. There just isn’t enough time in one’s life to discover all forms of music from around the globe, which is why it feels right to take a selection of it to willing ears, offering a musical oasis amidst a world of chaos.

Embracing all forms of music from around the globe and understanding other cultures has influenced me, whilst creating the sound of Globetronica. With this in mind, imagine a music club night called Globetronica that has 2 rooms:
Room 1 - Beats & D’n’B (MIX 1)
Room 2 – Techy Breaks (MIX 2)

With music complied and mixed by me where the overall sound is of an ‘outernational’ nature. I sincerely hope you enjoy and are transported to my special place…Globetronica’ – Smiles PATHAAN.
