Tempered Dj’s v Funkfreekz make their belated return to the label with their customary big-room electro house sound. Remix comes courtesy of Second’s man-of-the-moment Glide. The original mix is peak-time stuff from the Manchester up-and-comers, while Glide Eon Mix deliver an entirely different interpretation of the track – removing all of the big-room elements and stripping the track down. Glide lays down funky beats and percussion over plenty of atmosphere, with classic deep house keys floating in and out of the mix. All this builds to a lush, synth-laden breakdown. A classy, subtle remix from an artist very much in form.
