The uber-talented Mr Thayer drops this single ahead of his September album for Passenger – and it’s a corker. ‘Mind Control’ kinda recalls The Prodigy’s dynamite bombast initially before more squelchy electronics are added. The vocal sample is suitably outlaw, and the breakdown to die for. ‘Toasted’ on the other side is a wobbly, techy cut that will sit nicely in a 3am proggy portion of a set.
