Best known as John Digweed's production partner, Nick Muir has recently been responsible for some productions that are seeing him establish himself in his own right. Most recently the floorshaking 'Earthquake' and the sublime 'Feedback from the city' which he produced with Neil Quigley for Audio Therapy's very own Spring/Summer 07 Sampler and received a full release on the excellent Urban Torque, which brings us to 'G Platz' his finest solo outing to date. The original is an absolute stonker of a tune with its full on drug induced hypnotic groove, perfect for those 4am mashed dancefloor moments layered with techy synth lines, scattered voices and sweeping melodies. Pig&Dan take the key elements of the track and give it a more techier and tougher edge which carries all the hallmarks of their sound. Bedrock resident and Urbantorque A & R man Neil Quigley, brings us a beautifully structured deep house mix full of warm synth's and deep gurgling sonics taking the track in a whole different direction altogether.
