Mr_Barcode (aka Jay Tripwire) has created the most soul satisfying collection of analog squelches and acid riffs this side of 1988 on his forthcoming 'Designated Robot' album. 'We Can Talk Telectro' and 'Cybertron' are both equal parts eighties electro and gritty raver tech-house. There are warm bass lines everywhere, funky percussion, organic drums and even layered melodies. Maybe Barcode’s not as evil as he professes to be.
