If you spend so much as an hour or so listening to BBC 1Xtra or Bobby & Nihal on Radio 1, you'll know that Asian D&B is hotter than an extra spicy Vindaloo right now, with artists such as Joi, Badmarsh & Shri, and Genetic Drugs all tearing apart the underground and brimming with eastern promise. Mo Magic is another fully-fledged member of the Asian D&B cognoscenti, and 'Sirens' is his somewhat epic debut.

With its eyes firmly set on the dancefloor, this is a rampant homage to the underground, where ugly-assed UK D&B gets a sexified makeover with soothing, enchanting Asian flutes, vocals and riddims. Opening with the haunting Indian flutes of 'Sirens', we're treated to a bassline sicker than Jonathan King and rugged, sharp edged beats that won't fail to impress. As the journey continues we're aurally massaged by the sublime breakbeat ballad 'River of Dreams' swaggering like hoons to the ragga-rolling 'Folk Song' and jamming like its 1997 all over again to the Natural Born Chillers inspired 'Rock The Remix'.
