Matt Chester is the founder of the 11th Hour Recordings project. He has been writing and producing music for the past six years, but has been building his material up for exclusive release through his own label. Deeply influenced by the melodies and soul of the Jazz, Blues and Funk he grew up with, as well as the Synth-pop of the 80's and the electronic experiments of composers like Vangelis, he was totally blown away when first exposed to Detroit Techno, and has never looked back since. His production perfectly represents that passion for high quality music, and is both diverse and distinct in its style - as represented here on, "Lives Unlooked For", which is receiving world-wide critical acclaim.
