Echaskech have absorbed a broad range of influences, starting with classical leanings, when Dominic Hoare and Andy Gillham first met, playing in the same orchestra during their school days. Since discovering the world of dance music, the Echaskech boys have been steadily joining the dots from Kraftwerk to Street Sounds, from Acid House to Techno, developing an unstoppable understanding of dance rhythms.

The result is an effortlessly flowing and inescapably powerful sound.

The album was preceded by the single “Popstars”, which featured remixes from two of the UKs most cutting edge dance acts: innovative beat merchants Subway (currently linked to Hot Chip and Prins Thomas), and Pete Tong favourites insignificant Others, uncompromisingly taking the track to the dancefloor.
