Having already dropped killer breakbeat cuts on 777 (Acid Rock / Stripped Down Funk) and Spinout Records (Waking The Dread), the bassbing shaking duo of Larry Holcombe and Mark Kane collectively known as DEF Inc. have been turning heads and gaining props in all the right places. 'Phat Admirer' (already gaining exclusive plays from UK breaks pioneed Tayo) is a much more dubby affair than '50K' but rocks like a mother funker. Filthy ripping bass married up with good time reggae vocals, sown together with rocking kicks and snares.
