A decidedly ‘90s-sounding trancer from Platipus. The backing track rolls brilliantly with its filtered, clanking, semi-industrial percussion marking out its true place in history. Coupled with the authentically linear feel, you’ll probably already be finding the old nostalgia muscle twitching a bit. By the time the gentle bubble of the acid bassline and subsequent (judiciously used) eastern vocal all swing into effect, you’ll probably find yourself gazing, misty-eyed, out the window. Platipus have shown they don’t mind giving past decades a referential nod before - rarely more effectively than here, though.
