Lovely debut release from London-based Alison Marks on Steve Bug's slightly groovier Dessous imprint. ‘Rothschild’s Violin’ is a warm flowing deep electronic house track that has a great balance between subtle head candy and solid dancefloor appeal. Tight drums and shimmering synths get the track going before the mainstay - a vibrant and bouncy bassline - kicks in. Lots of little intricacies really keep your interest and the peak is reached when moody deep chords/strings (Rothschild’s violin?) take over, giving it a very deep yet euphoric feel.
