Resist's ‘At The Controls’ series aims to delve deep into the musical psyches of the worlds greatest contemporary DJs. And Delve they certainly do on the 4th album in the series, delivered by French electroist Agoria, whose mix harks back to the esoteric approach adopted by James Holden , mixing up a diverse selection of weird and wonderful music.

Agoria is known for his noisy, eclectic take on dance music, as demonstrated on his big singles 'Les Beaux Jours' and ‘Stereolove’ as well as last year's longplayer 'The Green Armchair'.

The Frenchman mixes up a journey that goes from minimal to deep house and back with a few nice surprises thrown in... Ben Westbeech, Efdemin, Swayzak, Chloe, Fairmont, Telepopmusik, you get the picture! As a DJ, Agoria he is inclined to throw a few curveballs into his mixes, and he doesn’t disappoint here, featuring tracks by fifties electronic whiz Raymond Scott and goth rockers Bauhaus amid more up-to-the-minute techno and house selections.
