After a 6 months break due to distribution reorganization, Belgian DJ Geoffroy (Mugwump) relaunches his label Hi-Phen trough News distribution with a killer & timeless release from Londoner producer 100 Hz. This tech-house vocal pearl was first heard in a Parisian after party in the winter of 2000 spun by a then unknown Ivan Smagghe. After years of chasing, Hi-Phen finally secured the rights of 'Trustlove' which went from the artist's own label Format records to the then influential/cult techno imprint, Pacific records then to BC records which snapped it up and never used it and now it's finally on Hi-Phen and it has never been commercially released until now, while getting a lot of attention/envy from the coolest DJ's. Hi-Phen has commissioned new mixes and magic has happened really. The other new mix is by Rotterdam's master of the staccato minimal electro-nic sound, Orgue Electronique (Bunker, Stilleben, Viewlexx, Downlow) who has gone for an update of the early Chi-town sound a la Marshall Jefferson but in the inimitable Dutch electro/italo fashion, support on this mix comes from Serge (Clone), The Glimmers and Cyril K (Dialect).
