The Soulfunk brand was established in 2003 and is the brainchild of Darren Flecta. The brand has developed over the past few years and has established itself as one of the East of England’s leading soulful house promotions. Building on this success and reputation of these parties the Soulfunk team expanded, and alongside the explosion of the internet has launched Soulfunk-Digital. In an age where it is cheaper, quicker and easier to source good music online Soulfunk decided to go 100% digital allowing its artists to showcase their music to the world.

The label has already signed 4 artists and is currently negotiating with some renowned producers and up and coming artists. The first release is a soulful house track entitled “Honesty” and is produced by Soulfunk’s very own resident DJ Danny Clark. The superb uplifting vocals were sung by the extremely talented Lisa Abbot who also co-wrote the lyrics alongside Paul Hobbs, who has a number of UK club hits already in his ever increasing portfolio. This debut release has already turned a few heads in the industry and has been gaining massive support from the leading soulful house jocks.
