Intercom Recordings was started as a way for Alex and Jay (E-Z Rollers) to bring new artists into the Drum & Bass scene. The first 20 releases were all mixed by E-Z Rollers at their studio in Norwich with many releases produced by them as well. This has been a continuing factor in the thinking behind Intercom with the production skills of E-Z Rollers being put to use more recently with singles from Bristol’s “Ringleader” and the formation on the “New Skool Blazers” series, yet another chance for up and coming producers to show their wares. The future of Intercom includes 2 new compilation albums for 2005 as well as singles and artist albums from E-Z rollers and Tommy Knocker.
