Label - Breakin Even Records

Label Bio - Breakin Even Records
Breakin Even was originally set up as a club night in March 2001 by a trio of Promoters from Reading, UK. After a successful 1st year at Club Bay in Reading the boys then turned their attention to the production side of things and created the live act Breakin Even Collective.
After some big gigs at The Big Chill, Beautiful Daze, Cargo and Neighborhood the night grew from strength to strength and just 1 year after starting the night they had moved to a 700 capacity club and were playing alongside the likes of Soul of man, B.L.I.M, Phil Hartnoll, Dreadzone, Dub Pistols, Lee Combes, Evil Nine and The Freestylers.
They have now set up the record label securing a distribution deal with load media and things are rolling once again. The label will primarily be a breakbeat label but there is a lot of talent in the Breakin Even Collective so who knows what will happen next, and which direction it will take.
The 1st release on Breakin Even Records is Neon Funk by the Groove Diggerz, who are Rob Savage and Reuben Pearce. These 2 are set to smash the breaks scene to pieces with their originality and tight production, Neon Funk is a funk fuelled breakbeat monster set for release in January.
It has already been supported by SKOOL of THOUGHT, STEELZAWHEELZ, DOPAMINE and KLAUS Heavyweight HILL it looks set to be a big seller.
