Back in the summer of 2004, David Fine and Barney Barraclough started Underl_ne as a techno sister to house label Rescue Recordings. With the help of friend Troy Pierce it begun as an organic and creative project with limited stencilled labels and hand painted sleeves. Always staying true to our underground roots and taste, Underl_ne represents free thinking specialised minimal dance music. Inspired by the dj sets of Magda and with our attitude to music evolving, we thought it was a cool way to go.

The label has featured other artists like Bern, Rosaire Argyle, Jay Haze, Vivianne Projects, Matt John and Qodeval. Our milestone so far being the Enemy Love Album by Louderbach. Now in 2006 we have a great sense of direction and have an exciting schedule of 12" and more albums planned. We are also holding label parties in Utrecht, in Hamburg and London.
