Surface Recordings (BORN: 16TH AUGUST 2004) was set up as a parallel label to ATCR on the eve of the latters 40th release. Although 'Sub Label' seems to be the preferred term in the record industry, it tends to indicate that the labels aim is in some way lower than that of its parent. That is neither the intention nor destination of Surface Recordings. Instead it aims to be a label of entirely comparable output.
