Label Bio - Prolifica Recordings

 

Prolifica Records, through its initial signings, aims to establish itself as a new breed of “underground crossover” label where the luxury of being able to let tracks grow organically from the streets into the mainstream is balanced with careful consideration of marketing opportunities.

Drawing from a strong dance background they intend to embark on a mission to explore the musical possibilities which are opening up in a “post-dance” era of ever increasing cross-genre contamination.

Prolifica intends to pursue a wide eclectic musical policy (to include nu and post dance as well as electronic rock, pop and jazz) putting musical values over and above stale considerations of genre
