Progrezo was created in the city of Bogotá Colombia in 1999 with the idea of promoting DJs, live-acts, and producers all over Colombia. Since 2000, Guillermo Rivadeneira A.K.A Gare Mat K has been the direct promoter, making this a well known brand nationally.

At the end of 2004, Guillermo Rivadeneira decided to create the first record label and independent musical company (Colombia) by the name Progrezo Records, and promote, support and show the work referred to sounds which come from the electronic progressive movement.

This new and fresh record label aims to showcase progressive sounds of high quality, created by a selected group of national and international Dj / producers with a clear and hard proposal. Progrezo Records has picked quality artists that have appeared on quality record labels worldwide like EMI music, Distraekt records, Lajja Recordings, BXR, Tumbata records, Media Records, Beat Freak Recordings, Sondos, 2001, Magna Recordings and Distinto among others.

To date the label has received great support from artists, magazines and webzines around the world.
