Planet Clique is a UK-based independent record label founded in 2005, originally intended for releasing output by UK production/remix team Manhattan Clique, who have worked with the likes of Moby, Goldfrapp, Fischerspooner, Stereophonics etc in recent years. Early releases included the acclaimed ‘Whammy 2005 Remixes EP’ by seminal act The B-52’s. The green vinyl only release sold out its limited run, and the featured remixes by Riton, MHC & Majortweaks became club monsters in clubs as far afield as London, Ibiza and Sydney.

Further such releases have inspired the label to expand, and as of 2006, they are actively signing new acts and one-off releases to the label.

Forthcoming/current projects include single releases by new acts Matinee Club, Formatic, and SuperJupiter (who have recently signed to SonyBMG after a huge media buzz). They will also be continuing to produce their series of DJ-only remix EPs by classic artists including The B-52’s.

There will also be two compilation albums released in the latter half of 2006, with a possible Manhattan Clique artist album in planning for 2007.
