Pacific Front Recordings is the brainchild of Justin Humber and Davin Greenwell. After going for coffee and talking with Charles Paul and Dano, the group got excited that there is so much untapped talent kicking around the Pacific North West. Then one Braeden Parrot came up with the name and it clicked.

The name: Pacific Front is all about attitude -- the West Coast attitude to be a bit more accurate. There's also a bit of duality in the name -- a pacific front is a storm, and there is often times a calm before the storm. This is an appropriate metaphor for the kind of music you are going to hear from Pacific Front Recordings -- music that brings you calmly into a groove, and then lets loose with a "storm" of energy. There is a duality in the tagline as well -- a "pacific front" is a weather system, and this kind of music sounds damn good on a big sound system.
