Label - Mob Records

Label Bio - Mob Records
Mob Records was started at the end of 1999 with an idea to release quality underground electronic funk of any genre. To date they have hopefully done just that releasing original material and quality remixes from the likes of Ashley Beedle, Koma & Bones, Rennie Pilgrem, SANTOS and Care In The Community. Mob Records has also been a springboard for the Stanton Warriors, and their focus on developing new talent has seen us sign exciting new acts such as Beber & Tamra and NuBreed..
Artists in 'the family business' from overseas are as far away as Miami (Jasp 182), Melbourne (NuBreed) and Malaga (Moseh Naim). Mob is also an international label joining the dots from continent to continent and trying to rock you whether you are in New York, New Cross or New Delhi.
Mob Cuts have turned up in the boxes of deck luminaries such as Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold (currently one of our biggest fans), Norman Cook, Plump DJ's, Hybrid, Timo Maas, Freq Nasty, Adam Freeland, Sander Kleinenberg and more.
Despite the parting of ways with Tayo, who has run the label until recently, Mob continues and these things can work - especially when shit-hot tunes continue to flow from Mob HQ, evident in the two post Tayo corkers of ‘Obsessive Nature’ and the Wide Awake EP.
Look out for the super heavyweight Mob sound around the UK and around the world. If we're in your area come and say hello.
Mob is distributed exclusively in the UK by AMATO
