Label - En:Vision Recordings

Label Bio - En:Vision Recordings
En:Vision Records started life in 2002 to showcase the wealth of talent that had been picked up on by Glen "FFS" Nicholls, who launched the label by releasing "Menace/2-Bit Hooker", a collaboration between Digital Pimp and R-Kidz, backed with a remix of the latter track by FFS himself.C83 sent in a CD of some of their work, and immediately Glen signed "Taurus", and sought the remix talents of up-and-coming producer Kraymon to rework "Neptune" to create a killer single that is still played today.
The ethos of the label was to keep quality high, and to release tracks that would sound fresh even in years to come. This ethos was clearly evident on the 3rd En:Vision release from Dark Mode, aka Clatterbox, who Glen had known from his time spent in the Westcountry, and whose work he had been a fan of since the days of Clear Records. This pushed the more electro side of the label, and was a big seller Stateside.
Releases from D-Pimp and Madam Breaks finished off 2002 and saw through a successful first year of releases for the label, which was taken to new heights in 2003 on the release of C83's second single "Back In The Day". It came backed with a remix from EK, and the original was a blissed out summer anthem which rocked any dancefloor it came into contact with. In stark contrast, the next release was again a two-tracker from En:Vision regular D-Pimp, with two harder tracks "Frequency/Overload".Kraymon returned for his own smasher "Who Wants Some", which came backed with a remix from breaks don Elite Force, and was followed up by another well respected producer Chris Carter with the extreme funk of "Botty Funk".
More releases from Madam Breaks, C83 (including the Tamra vocal fuelled "Twisted Logic"), Silken and New Zealander DJ Phully bring us up to date, and the label is still pushing out quality releases. Looking back over the back catalogue, there is no particular En:Vision style other than quality production and tracks that stand the test of time.
