Hailing from the Netherlands, Clone Records, owned by DJ Serge, is one of the most influential techno/electro labels around, with an artist roster that includes Dexter, Alden Tyrell, I-F, and Legowelt, Duplex, Drexciya, Adult,Putsch 79 and many others.

The label was set up in the Mid-90’s and was one of the first labels releasing electro at a time straight techno and house was the thing to do and was becoming formulaic and a little boring. Clone is a label that does not care about commercial releases but just cares if it’s good music or not.

Clone have released albums which have almost become cult items, have introduced some great new debut artist albums to the world like Legowelt’s “Classics” album and the great Putsch 79 album.

There is always a constant flow of amazing 12”s which are almost essential for every serious music lover with many new talented artists alongside well known figures! You can always expect loads of other good stuff coming your way like the new “Box Jams” compilation and loads of pure and high quality electro, techno, disco and house.

Beside the Clone mother label There are three sub labels with “DUB recordings”as the longest running. Sub label DUB recordings started out as experimental sub label of Clone for the non danceable and crazier things

DUB recordings slowly specialized in modern electronica at a moment that almost no other label released this kind of music. DUB recordings was together with Music aus Strom , Schematic, WARP and Rephlex (to name a few) one the few labels at the end of the nineties really specialized in modern electronical music..

DUB recordings started working with some very talented artists from the Netherlands (Like Funckarma, EOG , Like a Tim, Kettel) and beside that also released music from people as Funkstorung (who released their 1st albums on dutch Bunker records), Speedy J, D’Arcangelo, Andre Estermann, L’usine and other international artists.

DUB recordings is still releasing amazing electronical music from friends all over the world.. and even tho the output might not be the biggest… every release is another master piece!

Frantic Flowers and Frustrated funk are the 2 other sub labels for the crazy electro and classic Detroit and Chicago influenced techno and House.
