If I’m honest, I’m not a big fan of this fidget house trend, but I’m a big fan of Crookers , cuz it’s not just about the music maybe, as the tendency is; once it is hip, the ones who think they are bright will tag along the trend and will keep producing the same sound on and on, make the money out of it- if then can till people get sick of it- and won’t give a shit about the quality!

But with these guys Phra & Andea , it’s quite different , they are the owners of their sound , never gave up on the quality so far …And I think with them it’s about their ‘energy’, they have plenty of that good vibe and possibly the best thing about them is although they are very much hyped and wanted they are still genuinely so down to earth and grounded , that’s something you can rarely see these days, won’t mention about ’some kidz!’ thinking they have made
it to the top and after a few releases and start coming up with diva demands, all I can say is my ‘backside!’… Harsh? sorry but some people deserve being overvalued but some don’t, and I think I got to the point where I had to get somethings off my chest after dealing with so many thick (who can’t work out simple little things) and moody ones …

Anyway back to the subject and the ones who deserve the reputation : Crookers; Pra And Bot ,who met in 2003 and soon got to work together as they had the same tastes and a similar musical background. Both have been producing and djing on their own before creating the Crookers team: Bot was introduced to music learning to play instruments like piano and guitar and then moved to synths, turntables and sequencers while Phra started djing at the early age of 11 and then was introduced to the italian Hip Hop scene as an Mc.

They have released their second EP - ‘Mad Kidz’ on Southern Fried ; featuring guest vocals from hip hop star Kid Cudi on ‘Embrace The Martian’. This is the second EP to be taken from the forthcoming album which will feature a whole host of collaborators, including Diplo, Soulwax and Tim Burgess... and ‘Magic Bus’ is the magic cure for the hangover, depending on the person i suppose, works pretty well with me , overdose may cause some side effects!

First gig out of ITALY AT FABRIC LONDON…soo scary but SOO GOOD!

We are woring very hard for th album and will stop remixing for a couple of months …

We sample discount music to do some fresh club music…we don’t know how we do btw

both…music has no “time”

all of them are important also good FOOD and DRINKs are important to have a good show..
