A few posts ago i mentioned something about the completely logical act of me stealing a shoe from Tommy Trash. To put your mind at ease, yes he did get it back in the end. Two days later i brought it to one of his shows in a Happy Birthday wine bag that plays happy birthday when you press it. See above photo.

Now back to tour town.

When i last left you i was on my way to Barcelona to check out Sonar Festival. I give this festival 4 and a half nerds out of five. It was great, although, slightly nerdy at times. The art installations were crazy and brain hurt, but the massive line up of DJs, bands soon sorted that out. The booze may have had a small role also. Standouts for me were Justice, Soulwax, Tender Forever, DJ Mehdi vs A-Trak, Dirty Sound System, The Dulocks, and Jimpster.

I did miss a few shows here and there, but i blame that on the beach being so close, and the weather so hot. Whilst in Barca i also managed to catch a side show of Fedde Le Grand.

The following week i was back in Lundarn Town and gettin down at Herbal. This is not what i’d call a large club, but the good vibes were large indeed. Everybody seemed to have a great time (I’ll have to remember to crack out into the audience more often) and I did too. Big thanks Paul (General Midi), Messy Katie, and Jim for a smashing night.

The following day I was off to Russia again (a shorter trip tho this time). This time I was playing in Moscow at a club called Tunning Halls. Size wise, i seemed to notice a little bit of a contrast. Tunning Halls is massive. There were around 3500 people there for the show. This is now the biggest (non festival) indoor gig I’ve ever played. As you can probably guess I had pretty damn good time =) Once again the crack worked wonders and hopefully i’ll be heading back again real soon. Big thanks to Sergey, Andrew and everyone at Tunning Halls. I LOVE MOSCOW!

Unfortunately i found out later that i was actually double booked for a show in Swansea on the same night (i was only ever told it was on the Sunday). So I must send out a big apology to everyone there for not making an appearance. Next time, I’ll be there with bells on.
