The Public House ( JuneTop 10 )

Filtering through the council estates, warehouses and terraces of Dalston, a plan is being hatched. Using this urban sprawl as a backdrop a few music loving mortals have dared to dream. The dream is Public House, a new type of party, a new attitude, a new style designed specifically for the enjoyment of all. The idea spawned from the desire to hear top drawer house and techno, sprinkled with aural gems selected lovingly from days gone by. Public House want to create the hedonistic party atmosphere which is often forgotten in favour of pretentious elitism. Public House is for everyone who wants to leave their ego at the door and listen to excellent dance music. The music will be pumping, the mood upbeat and the atmosphere stimulating.

Expect a dance driving landscape of Techno, Minimal, House with jumping Latin, Tribal flavours and the odd cowbell. Don’t be surprised to hear injections of 90’s House, early Detroit Techno and hip shaking disco thrown elegantly on absolutely relentless basslines. You're likely to hear all this pinned on the same noteboard as classic tracks that you will make you wanna run to the DJ booth pleading for the track name. Expect the unexpected, as long as it makes your feet dance, your ass shake and your mouth smile it will be out of the box and on the decks. What you will get is forgotten tracks hand selected that will be given the airing they deserve. The Public House residents have one policy: if it sounds good and feels good, it is good. Done.

After the mayhem of the launch party, Public House is back! We leave behind tropical surrealism of Shacklewell Arms for the basement of Dreams, in the heart of E8. Known by all who have ventured down to Dalston’s forgotten haven of hedonism, as a truly memorable venue, we are proud to have commandeered it for our next party. If you haven’t heard of Dreams you will not be forgetting the name, it is mental!

Public House @ Dreams will take place on July 3rd. Dreams Night Club is a 2minute walk from Dalston Kingsland Station or a 10 minute bus ride (149, 243) from Shoreditch or Liverpool St.
